Water Rockets

Each year the scouts of Pack 9 transform empty plastic bottles into rockets with the help of a taped paper nose cone, a few fins, and a blast of water. 

With the help of water, as a propellant, and air as an energy source, we see how far our Scouts rockets can fly.  They learn simple things within physics and aerodynamics during this session.

Join us out on the launching field for hands on scouting fun . You'll need a 2 ,2-liter carbonated soda bottle (not a water bottle).
